Deep work tracker for iPhone

A score for your day.
By your rules.

Aurum turns your focus into one honest number out of 1000, weighted by what you say matters. No streaks to break. Nothing watching you.

The Today screen in Aurum: today's score reads 701 out of 1000 inside a glowing dome, above an hourly bar chart of focus and the line “Score is how much today matched your own definition of a good day.”

Why another tracker

Hundreds of trackers. All of them judge you by their rules. Aurum asks a different question: what makes a day good — for you? Then it counts. Honestly. Without punishment.

How it works

How a day becomes a number.

  1. 01 · Your formula

    Rank what matters.

Put six factors in your own order: focus time, deep blocks, keeping your word, habits, what matters, recovery. The order becomes your formula. A factor at zero leaves the score entirely.

The weights screen: “A good day — you decide what the score measures”, with sliders reading Focus time 27%, Deep blocks 22%, Keeping my word 17%, Habits 14%, On what matters 11%.
  2. 02 · The crucible

    Work in the crucible.

Say what the session is for, then start. Aurum’s timer is a block of glass that heats as you work.

    1. State your intention.
    2. Work. It heats from the bottom up.
    3. Past your plan, it turns molten. Overtime is flow, not failure.
    4. Hold three seconds to end early. No minutes are lost.
A focus session in Aurum: the crucible, a rounded block of glass, is filled two-thirds with glowing orange matter, the clock reads 29:42, and under it the session's intention reads “Draft the next section of the essay”.
  3. 03 · The close

    Get one honest number.

Every evening the day closes on a score out of 1000 and one sentence about what carried it. Then it is over. Tomorrow gets its own number.

The closing frame of the day: the number 735 in molten gold on black, with the lines “Focus time carried it.” and “Tomorrow gets its own number.”

What no other tracker does

Four mechanics, and none of them are a timer.

  • 01 · Intention → outcome

    73 min

You planned 50 minutes. You gave it 73.

Every session carries an intention and a check on whether you kept it. Over time Aurum learns how well you predict yourself — from two of your own reports, not from a sensor.

  • 02 · Priority gap

    w × (1 − r)

    Where your priorities leak.

Each factor’s weight times what’s missing. Aurum names the one you said mattered most and are losing most.

  • 03 · No punishment by design

    30 days

There is no streak to break.

The headline number is a 30-day percentage. One bad Tuesday can’t zero anything, and ending early burns no minutes.

  • 04 · Nothing is watching

    0 sensors

    Objectivity without surveillance.

No screen reading, no keystrokes, no app tracking. The honesty comes from the questions, not from watching you.

What Aurum refuses to do

Things Aurum will not do

  • Leaderboards.
  • Streaks that reset.
  • Midnight deadlines.
  • Motivational spam.
  • Fees on forgetting.
  • Comparison with anyone.

Questions

Before you join.

When does Aurum launch?
Soon. The app is built, and we’re finishing the App Store side. We won’t promise a date we can’t keep — you’ll get one email the day it’s live.
What do founding members get?
The first 100 people on the list get 90% off their first year of Membership: $4.99 instead of $49.99. Spots go in the order people join, and your number is fixed the moment you claim it. The code arrives with the launch email.
What does it cost after that?
Tracking stays free. Membership — history beyond seven days, stats over months, the priority gap over time — will be $49.99 a year or $9.99 a month, with 14 days free to try. Founding members pay $4.99 for their first year.
Which phones?
Aurum launches on iPhone, on iOS 26 or later.
What happens to my data?
Your sessions, intentions and goals stay on your iPhone. There’s no account and no cloud. The app sends a few anonymous usage signals — never your words — and you can switch even those off.
And my email?
We keep your address, the date you joined and how you got here — the link or app that brought you, your country and type of device. One email at launch. Never shared, never sold. No cookies on this site. The details are in our privacy note.
